Custom frames can be so expensive!! Instead, go to Michaels, Robert's, Joann's, wherever sells the classic "art supplies". In the painting section, there will be these random lengths of wood that are actually canvas frames. How they really work, I do not know. I just know, I can go to the craft store by 4 lengths (they come in 1" increments), each side cost between 12 cents - $1+ and I can create whatever size frame I want! They fit snugly together, I then paint them, antique them (because I antique everything), and drill a few holes in the corners to hang them with twine. It's so fun to do a bunch together of different sizes, it just makes it playful.
