Primary CD

I bet most of you already do this... At the start of the year when my calling started as music leader I made a CD for each family. I just went to LDS.org and downloaded all the songs outlined and put them on CD. It has all the "Theme Songs" for each month that the church provides in the Sharing Time and Sacrament Meeting Presentation Outline.

My sister said her ward in Texas always did this, so I gave it a try. It is SO great to introduce a new song (which is out of the friend) for the month of March, and since these kids have had the CD for a few months...they've heard it before! It makes my job a lot easier. You could also add the Article of Faith songs if you have room...It does depend a lot on the parents and how often they turn it on of course, but when I gave it to the kids I told them to put it in the car and remind their mom or dad to turn it on while they're driving.

This is an awesome idea. Our ward has done this for two years now. My little sunbeam already knows the first 3 songs by heart (all verses). He also knows most of the songs from last year even though he wasn't in primary, just from the cd in the car.
